Smiley is a Master of Ceremonies (MC) who channels Medicinal Hip-Hop and holds Sacred Space wherever his presence is welcomed. His offerings weave music, ritual, and community activation into transformative experiences that awaken the voice, body, and spirit.
Medicinal Hip-Hop Performance
Smiley’s live performances are not just concerts, they are immersive ceremonies of connection and transformation. Each show is a ritual where rhythm meets intention, and the audience is invited to not just listen, but to participate. Through call-and-response, collective breathwork, and chanting affirmations lifted from his lyrics, Smiley co-creates an energetic field with the crowd. Sacred Space Facilitation
In 2021, Smiley birthed his "Sacred Connections Ceremony" offering. He has led more than 50 of these immersive journeys, inviting participants into deeper awareness of their breath, body, emotions, and spirit. These ceremonies draw on authentic relating, gentle breathwork, conscious movement, and somatic practices. They weave together the medicine of cacao, the intimacy of relational practices, and the freedom of ecstatic dance. Each gathering becomes a heart-opening process. The night unfolds in candle light with a beautiful progression of practices that draw you into a space of vulnerability. Smiley has a perfectly disarming presence, which allows you to trust him and trust the journey forward. As you surrender to the process you find a new realm of connection within your heart space and renewed adoration and love for people around you. Loved the intro and the sharing circle where we had a chance to get to know one another before we took the medicine. The cacao was absolutely DELICIOUS and packed with ❤️ and of course the DANCE! Wow I mean the music was beautifully curated! Awesome, steady energy up to the top where the whole group just went into ecstasy followed by a beautiful hart opening calm down. At the end the whole group just became a huge cuddle puddle on the dance floor. Deeply satisfied and highly recommended!

The connection exercises were fun and a great way to meet people beyond the usual “where are you from”. Smiley created a beautiful ceremonial space to really honour and connect with the medicine of the cacao. The unfolding of the journey was well held with thought-provoking conscious connection activities that made me feel safe in the group, open to connect with myself deeply, as well as forming friendships with others. I felt incredible free in my body during the dance… I had an awareness of Smiley’s presence and attention to detail, energetically checking in with the group throughout the journey and inviting people to really express whatever was alive in them. At the end I had a feeling that I had somehow arrived home inside myself, and with my tribe.

This was my first time joining for Smiley’s Sacred Connections ceremony and I would definitely join again. A safe space was created to unmask for the evening to whatever level felt comfortable. The experience was held within a proper container from opening to closing. In between, we sat, we enjoyed cacao, we danced, smiled, made silly sounds, shared, and were serenaded with live guitar. A truly delightful evening of connecting to self, others, the moment, and sinking deeper into authenticity of the heart. Smiley is a true gem. Highly recommend participating in his events.

Roots & Community
Based in the coastal town of Mazunte, Mexico, Smiley has found both home and inspiration. It was here that he first discovered cacao ceremonies, Authentic Relating, and ecstatic dance practices that inspired him to create his own Sacred Connection Ceremonies. In Mazunte, he returns to presence, nourished by the ocean, mountains, and community. This deep connection with nature allows him to channel the healing messages and Medicinal Hip-Hop lyrics that he now shares on stages across the world.
